Within the event called The Past and Present of the Germans of Hungary and Saxons of Transylvania visitors would discover the economic, cultural and social role  of Saxons with the help of a picture exhibition cvombined with motion picture.

Ferenc Pozsony made a presentation of the exhibition called  Our Transylvanian Saxon Neighbours. Mária Hercegh, the president of the German Local Government of Budakeszi City and Teréz Startz, the director of the Budakeszi German Museum  opened a photograph exhibition on the deportation of Swabians. Barbara Dovigyel entertained the public with folk songs.

 The hosts of the event:

 Márta Farkas, the managing director of Saxlehner András Public Association and dr. Balázs Gerencsér, the director of Flachbarth Ernő Atelier on Minority Research.
